We set up a large army tent outside of Crossville Tn every year. We had a lot of good vintage and we are there 15 days. You could come early and stay in Cookeville it’s cheaper.

I just repaid my living room in Greek villa by Sherman Williams got it Lowe’s in satin finish. I absolutely love it redoing my bathroom now. It’s a beautiful shade of a creamy white and no yellow tint to it. U should check it out it’s so pretty

My husband and I went to the sale this year first time for us, I heard that a lot of venders set up early in the week and start selling which I was a little disappointed hearing this. We spent two days going from Dunlap Tennessee to Crossville Tennessee it was fun but boy it was hot by 2 o’clock I was done! Didn’t find as much as I was hoping to get and I thought a lot of the venders had pretty high prices.

Y'all got some wonderful goodies. This year was a bust for me in Kentucky. Items were either way overpriced or not what I was looking for. Thank you for sharing your treasures and your love for Jesus. :)

Love everything y’all got. I shopped at some of those same vendors. This year was a bit disappointing in the lack of general vintage items and the prices (some were pure fantasy prices). I did Signal Mtn to Clarkrange TN on Friday. Seemed to be more vintage the further north I went. On Saturday went from Mentone to Gadsden (I live in Alabaster) and found very little except at the vendors that I stop at every year. I stopped at Myrtle Jane’s also on Thursday on my way to Chattanooga and got 2 of my best bargains there. Next year I want to start in KY and go south. If you want to go to Signal Mtn from Mentone it’s best to just get on I-59 and take it to Chattanooga and get on 127 there. It’s quicker. Someone told me about a sale in the Sand Mtn area called the Mountain Trails 50 mile sale. It’s at the end of Aug / 1st of Sept. I’ve never heard of it but am going to try and go.

You and Aunt Penny are a hoot😂 We are from North Alabama and usually camp every year at this time at Desoto State Park so we can go to the yard sales and then go back to the campground when we need a break. We take our little dog Charlie and have the best time! We’ve made it a tradition:) I went to a lot of the same yard sales that you and Aunt Penny went to. We usually go to the ones near Fort Payne and Mentone. We found a vintage general store scale and several other great finds for my booth. You sure did find some really nice stuff!! Did I miss the garden cart that someone picked up for aunt penny? LOVE the chalkboard! Would be darling to drape a little flag banner from corner to corner or little ornaments at Christmas, but have them hooked up at the top in the center too, then hang a little wreath from there. We went to northern OH on Saturday and hubby wanted to go back on Sunday, so we drove back the same route, but in reverse direction (we live in north central Indiana). I should do a video of my haul(s). I feel like we did pretty good. I did hold back some, but still came home with some cool stuff at good prices. Some folks were wheelin’ and dealin’ on Saturday and Sunday. Got a few nice Free things too, but not much for that.

Put some ammonia with yellow ajax detergent in a spray bottle shake it well and mist it up away from you in the air in front of your yard and your backyard for all flying bugs. It works like a charm for 2.00 at the dollar tree. And you won't have no more bugs in your property God bless you amen amen🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🌈💯⛪👪

There’s a shot early in the video of signs laying on the ground and in the background is a black and white concrete pig - we saw that same pig in the bed of a pickup going down the road. It looked so funny!

We drove from Memphis to cookville Tn spent one afternoon there and spent the night with my sister in Manchester Tn she and her husband went with us then went up to Dunlap and Pikeville. Lots of driving but we had fun.

Penny’s scoop and green fan were such fantastic finds and such great prices. And your sifter was 🙌🏻 Score! That was an amazing deal. You two found some great treasures at great prices. I didn’t find anything this year. I bought one thing in Crossville then gave up and went antique store shopping in Pigeon Forge. 😂 Fantastic finds ladies! Thanks for taking us along. ♥️

It is held each month the weekend preceding the first Monday of the month..thus First Monday Trade Days. Suppose to be the US largest flea market (Thursday/Sunday). Not certain the prices will be as great as what you paid on this trip though. Glad you two had a good time.

It was best you turned back when you did… we were in the Signal Mountain and Pikeville area. It was very disappointing. I hear North Kentucky & Ohio are the better places to shop for the things you (we) like. We plan on heading up there, next year. I told you… that you and aunt Penny are always welcome to stay with me. 😊 Whenever you’re in the Nashville area.

I’m from Florida and I have been going to the 127 for 7 years now. My favorite location is Tennessee & Kentucky. When I stay I google lodging near me any I search for deals. Most of the time I stay around 20 miles off of 127 and I save a lot of money. It’s usually more expensive to stay on 127.
